No matter what our age, we have all talked to ourselves at least once. Maybe it was speaking to an imaginary friend as a child, or practicing in front of the mirror for a marriage proposal or a job interview. Even if we're pretending there is someone else in the room all we hear is "One Voice" and that is our theme for April.
What would prompt one of our heroes to talk to themselves? Is Legolas trapped in a cave and sharing his thoughts on the situation with an absent Gimli? Is Aragorn saying goodbye to Halbarad after finding his friend's body on the battlefield? Aragorn or Legolas wouldn’t have to be the speaker, of course. They could be the main characters in a story told to entertain a child or group of children.
Close your eyes and listen closely. Whose voice do *you* hear?
